Privacy Policy
SumukhAI ("we," "us," "our") is an AI search visibility partner: we help brands be found, recommended and chosen across search, AI-driven discovery and reputation. This policy covers this website (sumukhai.io), the free diagnostic tools on it, and the GA4 Weekly Report product, which is delivered through our separate application at app.sumukhai.io. It explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Depending on how you use sumukhai.io, we may collect:
- Contact and audit requests: when you submit our Contact form or request a Visibility Audit, we collect the name, email address and (for the Visibility Audit) business website you provide, so we can respond to you.
- Call bookings: our Contact page embeds Calendly to let you book a call. Calendly collects the name, email and time slot you enter directly. That exchange happens on Calendly's platform under Calendly's own privacy policy, not ours.
- Free tool inputs: the website URL or brand name you submit to the AI Visibility Checker or SEO Health Check, see "Our Free Visibility Tools" below for exactly what happens to this.
- GA4 Weekly Report account data: if you sign up for GA4 Weekly Report through app.sumukhai.io, that application collects your name, email, WhatsApp number, and the businesses you add, and, only if you choose to connect it, requests read-only access to your Google Analytics 4 property to generate your reports. This is described in more detail in "Google User Data & Limited Use" below.
- Analytics: like most websites, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site, see "Cookies" below.
The AI Visibility Checker and SEO Health Check are free diagnostic tools. When you run a check:
- The website URL you enter is sent to Google's PageSpeed Insights API, which audits the live, public page and returns performance and SEO signals. Google processes this request under its own terms; we don't control or store what Google does with it on their end.
- The brand or website name you enter for the "What ChatGPT Says" check is sent from your browser to a small script on our own server (
ai-check.php), which forwards it to OpenAI to generate a short, honest summary of what that model knows about the brand. We keep an OpenAI API key on our server (never exposed to your browser) specifically so this can happen without putting that key at risk.
- We do not store the URLs or brand names you submit in any database. Our server briefly logs your IP address and a timestamp purely to enforce a fair-use rate limit (5 checks per hour) so the free tool isn't abused. These entries are automatically pruned after one hour and are never used for any other purpose.
- Results shown by these tools are generated live for your own reference; we don't publish, sell or share what you submit.
We use the information above to:
- Respond to Contact and Visibility Audit submissions
- Run the free diagnostic tools and return your results
- Create and secure your app.sumukhai.io account (if you sign up for GA4 Weekly Report) and let you log in
- Retrieve the Google Analytics metrics you've selected and generate your weekly report
- Send that report to the email address(es) you specify, on the day you choose
- Understand overall site traffic and improve this website
We do not use any data submitted through this site to train AI models, and we do not use it for advertising purposes.
4. Google User Data & Limited Use
SumukhAI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the
Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
If you connect Google Analytics for GA4 Weekly Report (via app.sumukhai.io), we request only read-only access (the analytics.readonly scope) to the property you choose, through Google's own OAuth sign-in. We store the resulting refresh token so we can retrieve your analytics data to generate your reports on an ongoing basis. We do not request or receive access to edit, delete, or manage your Google Analytics account, and we never receive your Google password. This data is used only to generate the report you've configured, is accessible only to you and to the SumukhAI personnel/systems needed to operate the service, and is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train AI models.
You can revoke this access at any time from your Google Account permissions page, or by contacting us to disconnect a business.
5. Third-Party Services We Use
- Google Analytics – site traffic and usage analytics (this website)
- Google PageSpeed Insights API – powers the technical scan in our free tools
- OpenAI – powers the "What ChatGPT Says" check, via our server-side proxy
- Calendly – call scheduling, embedded on our Contact page
- Google APIs – to retrieve the Google Analytics data you've authorized for GA4 Weekly Report
- Supabase – database and authentication for app.sumukhai.io, hosted in the Mumbai (ap-south-1) region
- Hostinger – hosting for this website
6. Data Storage & Security
This website (sumukhai.io) does not run its own customer database. Contact and Visibility Audit submissions are used only to respond to you. app.sumukhai.io account data is stored with Supabase; passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text, and access to your businesses, report preferences and connected Google tokens is restricted at the database level so only your own logged-in account can read or modify them.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
Free-tool rate-limit entries are pruned automatically after one hour. app.sumukhai.io account and business data is retained for as long as your account is active; if you disconnect Google Analytics, we delete the stored refresh token immediately. If you'd like any data we hold about you deleted, contact us at the email below and we'll complete the deletion within 30 days.
8. Your Choices & Rights
You can, at any time: ask what data we hold about you, disconnect Google Analytics from GA4 Weekly Report, update your app.sumukhai.io account details, or request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us.
9. Cookies
This website uses Google Analytics cookies to understand traffic, and app.sumukhai.io uses essential cookies to keep you securely logged in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
10. Children's Privacy
SumukhAI is intended for business owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
11. Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy as SumukhAI evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
